Privacy, in plain words

The app knows nothing about you.

No accounts, no adverts, no tracking, no analytics, no cookies. This page loads nothing from anywhere else. The one form on this website is on the Feedback page, and the only thing ever sent from it is what you choose to write.

The app

The installed web app downloads its files from this website when opened online and attempts to keep a local copy for offline use. These requests do not include your saved maths progress. Your hosting provider may process ordinary connection information when serving files. Offline files are stored on your device alongside locally saved progress.

Your progress · topics practised, scores, streak, settings · is stored only in the app on your own device, and nothing leaves the phone unless you copy something out yourself.

A feedback code describes the question you are reporting: which topic, which tier, which variant, and the type of fault. It carries no name, no progress and nothing about your device.

This page

This page has no inputs of any kind: no box to type into, no button to press. It only ever states this policy.

The one form on the whole website is on the Feedback page. No contact form, no comment box, no name, no address, only a feedback code and its plain-words summary, and that is the entire submission.

Where it goes, and for how long

Feedback codes arrive through a Google Form and land in a spreadsheet that only I can open. Google handles the delivery on my behalf, and their servers may sit outside the UK. Emails do not go through any of that · they arrive in my inbox like any other email. I use what you send to fix faults in the app and to reply where a reply is wanted, and nothing else. It is never sold, shared or used for advertising.

A code on its own identifies a question, not a person. If you email me, then of course I have your address, and I keep it only for as long as the conversation needs.

Reports are kept while I work through them and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask me to delete anything you have sent, or ask for a copy of it, by writing to [email protected]. There is nothing to log into, and no account to close.

Poui Maths is made and run by Dr Yohance Osborne in a personal capacity, and he is responsible for the information sent through this page. If you are under 18, ask a parent, guardian or teacher before emailing me · a feedback code needs no name and no address, so it can always be sent on its own.
